E.A. GDP Growth Rate - 2nd Estimate (Q1 – 2022)
The seasonally adjusted gross domestic product (GDP) in the euro area (EA19) rose by 5.1% in the first quarter of 2022 compared to the same period a year prior, according to the 2nd estimate estimate released by Eurostat. In the entire European Union (EU27), the economy rose by 5.2% on an annual basis.
The GDP increased by 0.3% in the Eurozone and by 0.4% in the EU27 in the first quarter compared to the previous one.
