Harga emas turun pada awal perdagangan sesi AS hari Senin, di tengah positipnya sentimen pasar. Emas turun meskipun berhasil mempertahankan keuntungannya yang kuat yang diperoleh pada hari Jumat minggu lalu.
Naiknya kembali harga minyak mentah dan melemahnya indeks dollar AS menjadi faktor bullish di luar pasar emas yang membatasi penurunan dari harga emas.
Emas berjangka kontrak bulan Desember turun $4.10 ke $1,678.70 per troy ons. Sementara perak berjangka Comex bulan Desember naik $0.785 ke $20.22 per ons.
